On 19 April 2009, more
than 800 youth from all corners of Mpumalanga Province congregated in
Nelspruit for a youth service conducted by District Apostle Kitching.
The service was held in the Tshwane University of Technology’s main
hall.
The District Apostle,
using the text word from Ephesians 2: 19-22 for the service, explained
that the church that Jesus Christ established has a definite structure.
He went further to say that he wanted the youth to understand the church
and what its stands for, and the central role of Jesus Christ, in
contrast to current religious and spiritual trends. Our church “thinks
beyond the grave and is focused on eternal salvation. It is not just
another church, it is unique and has unique aspects which we should be aware
of and identify with”, said the District Apostle.
Apostle Mkhwanazi was
called up to serve. During the service a District Elder and District
Evangelist were also ordained for the Nelspruit and Barberton Districts.
