Visit to Botswana

05.06.2007

On the weekend of 12-13 May 2007, District Apostle Kitching, accompanied by Apostles Wilson and Mwape, Bishops Joubert and Musowoya, and District Elder Wentzel, visited our brethren in Botswana. On the Saturday various meetings were held, which were followed by three services on the Sunday. The first divine service was held at 09h00 in Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana, in a hired hall. The second service was conducted in another hired hall in Ghanzi and started at 13h45. Here a District Evangelist was ordained for the area in order for the vast district to be divided into two. The last service was scheduled in Francistown for 17h00. Over the course of the busy day and after several short flights between venues approximately 752 brothers and sisters could be served.
