Each musical item was introduced by a short video clip that gave background to the composers and the pieces performed.  The video clips were shown on two large screens in the arena.

In preparation for Thanksgiving on 7 October, a festive Thanksgiving Concert was held in a beautifully decorated Standard Bank Arena on 23 September 2007. The concert featured a mass choir of approximately 1 500 members, as well as an orchestra of 200. A children’s choir and various soloists also formed part of the program. Approximately 3500 members and guests enjoyed the concert which boasted a mixture of well known and modern pieces.

A surprise was in store for all since during the concert Mumbaba Kasongo, and his bride to be, Veronica, walked up to the podium to get married by District Apostle Kitching. They were accompanied by the mass choir singing the traditional hymn “Lindiwe”.
