District Elder Louis Brandt conducted a service in the Randfontein congregation
on 17 February 2008.
On 9 March 2008, Bishop Petersen conducted a service
for our children of the Eldo District.
Apostle Barnes conducted a service for 130 children
of the Southern and Eastern Free State in Heidedal on 13 January 2008.
Preparations For Easter
Twelve children of Krugersdorp congregation
decorated Easter eggs on 15 March 2008. They handed them to the Senior members
on
Easter Sunday.

Workshop for Sunday School Teachers
Those who participated in the workshop in Thaba Tshwane
On 23 February 2008, Bishop Joubert conducted a workshop for 125 Sunday
School teachers and office bearers in Thaba Tshwane. The purpose of the workshop
was for the teachers to take ownership for their task while creating an
environment of newness. Areas covered included the year plan, new ideas, better
preparation/presentation of lessons, and roles and responsibilities of teachers
and ministers.
Visit To Hospice
The Sunday school children and teachers from Bloemfontein and Bloemfontein
South congregations recently visited the Sunflower Hospice in Bloemfontein. This
is the home of many orphans and homeless infants. The children sang a few hymns
which brought much joy and touched many hearts.
