A view of the “choir”

Sunday School Service
On Sunday, 12 February 2006, Bishop Kieswetter conducted a combined service for
the children of North Rand and Boksburg districts. About 136 children attended
the service. The theme of the service was “sowing the seeds of kindness”. The
children were taught that what they sowed, they would eventually reap. Each
child was given a pack of corn seeds and some potting soil, and were shown how
to plant and nurture these seeds. The object of this lesson was to show them in
a real way that what they sow they will reap. At a future date closer to
Thanksgiving the “results” of this sowing will be brought together and the
children will be able to see how God blesses our labours. Children from Benoni
and Crystal Park congregations already came together the previous day to do the
flowers and practice for the “choir” and orchestra.
