"We will
complain less and abound in thankfulness to the Lord for what He
allows us to accomplish. Thus we shall keep the faith and accomplish
His will!"
Unheralded pioneers of faith, many of whom have untold stories of
sacrifice and triumph in laying a good foundation for the Lord’s
work, came out in their hundreds to receive the above message in a
service that was conducted by Apostle Mkhwanazi. The service took
place on 21 March 2010 at Ingwenyama Lodge, White River, in the
Mpumalanga Province.
The
Bible text for the service was taken from James 4:15: "...
instead you ought to say, 'if the lord wills, we shall live
and do this or that.'"
The
Apostle explained that as God’s children who are solely dependent
upon him, and when we make plans for the future we need to
prioritize and involve God for his approval and blessing. We want to
leave behind a living legacy among our families and friends
regarding God’s work of salvation.
Therefore we ought to say, if the Lord wills, I will live and speak,
teach, exhort, and rebuke with all the authority of an elder. I will
demonstrate my true faithfulness and dependency upon God even in
times of difficulties.
The
Bishops Fakude, Meyer, and Milazi were also called to serve the
senior members. The Apostle also used the occasion to formally
announce his transfer to the Gauteng area saying that in the African
culture it is appropriate to first inform the elders about any major
decision affecting an individual.
