The Apostle Barnes and Bishop Petersen hosted a luncheon for the first group of Seniors in the Bishop’s working area on 8 September 2007. This was held at the Sol Kerzner Catering School in Johannesburg. Due to the large numbers of Seniors in the Bishop’s area, they had to have two functions. Those present were entertained with a variation of songs, one of them being “My way” by Frank Sinatra. The guests were delighted with the walk down memory lane. Besides the many prizes won by the seniors while playing “pick-a-box”, each one received a gift. The Apostle Barnes opened and concluded the event in prayer.
