The Southern Free State District held a Seminar for Youth Leaders
and Rectors on Saturday, 7 February 2009, at the Bains Game Lodge in
Bloemfontein. Rectors and Youth Leaders from as far as Gariepdam, which is 190
km away, attended the seminar.
The objective was to rollout the year plan for
the district as well as to discuss the way forward on methods to get the Youth
active and involved. The aim was also to discuss ways and means to get the
"inactive youth" to participate. The slogan “YOUTHFULL” was adopted for the
district. The event was a huge success and the day was ended off with
fellowship and lunch.
