In the Mpumalanga area a strategic plan was designed that aimed at establishing orchestras in each sub-district by 2010. After attending a concert in Nyamazane, sister Esther Malaza along with Bishop Milazi began to raise funds to buy some instruments. Their vision was fulfilled in July 2005. Learners from Elukwatini District, including young and old, were involved in a non-stop program (4 - 16 July) that gave tuition in violin, recorder, trumpet and the tenor horn. Three weeks after starting training they gave their first concert! Of note is that 5 ensemble players from Soshanguve spent their school holiday in Elukwatini to teach the players.
