Promoting orchestral music in rural areas

Music
Music is promoted extensively and forms an integral part of divine worship and praise. Our church hymnals are translated into various languages to facilitate the congregational singing. We also have various choirs, ranging from the congregational choir to the area or regional choirs, that meet regularly for practice and rendering of musical programmes. The playing of instruments and formation of orchestras is encouraged from the earliest ages. Regular musical recordings are made available to our members to be enjoyed in their homes and personal environments.
Participation in the musical activities is voluntary and members qualify through an equitable process of selection that strives to preserve a basic acceptable standard in each congregation. Certain highly-skilled musicians are personally mentored and assisted to lead these programmes.
Since musical training is not always accessible, we created our own Music School where students can learn to play a musical instrument. In this regard they have a variety of musical instruments to choose from.
