Bishop Rudolph with the congregation of Mountainview

Thanks to the initiative of the Rector and members of the Mountainview congregation in Pretoria a decision was made to upgrade the original church building that had numerous structural flaws.

On 7 December 2008 the project began with the intention of renovating the original structure, but as the project advanced it became more and more apparent that the original structure had to be completely demolished.  With the enthusiastic support from members and few business people a completely new structure, replacing the original, was erected.

The newly built church was completed within four months and District Apostle Kitching commissioned the Bishop Rudolph to conduct the first service there on 12 April 2009.
