District Apostle Kitching Visits
Madagascar

District Apostle Kitching visited Madagascar from 19 to 22 September 2008. On
Saturday, 20 September he held a meeting with the apostles and newly ordained
bishops of Madagascar. The next day he conducted a service in Fianarantsoa,
located 400 km south from the capital Antananarivo. This service was attended by
423 members, which also saw the ordination of 2 district elders and 15 district
evangelists for Madagascar. Part of the weekend activities was the restructuring
of the country, from 6 to 13 regions and from 40 to 51 districts. On 22
September the District Apostle closed his visit with a meeting with the
apostles, bishops and administrative staff before he returned back to
Johannesburg.
