Apostle Kitching made a second visit to Madagascar on the weekend of 18 - 21
April 2008. On the Sunday the District Apostle traveled to Tomasina where he
placed the District Evangelist Jean Michel in to retirement. In his place he
ordained District Evangelist Samy Emmanuel for the area. After service he
travelled back to Antananarivo for a afternoon service, where he ordained two
district evangelists, Jean Kely and Tahamana.
On the Monday the District Apostle had a meeting with the two apostles from
Madagascar and then returned to South Africa. Already on the Friday and Saturday
the apostles and all the district leaders attended a seminar in Antananarivo
covering topics such as how to prepare for a divine service, soul care,
offerings, while also having a meeting with the District Apostle.
Currently there are 2 apostles, 6 district elders, and 39 district
evangelists active in Madagascar.
