A view of the "Mokhukhu" church

The congregation of Kraaipan |
Kraaipan Congregation Builds Own
Church The Lord’s Work reached Kraaipan
(Mafikeng district) about 13 years ago. Services were eventually conducted twice
a week in the homes of Sisters Anna Selogilwe and Bella Manyu on an alternate
basis. These premises became too small and Priest Byran Petersen, the rector of
Kraaipan, decided to erect a “Mokhukhu” structure for the congregation. Land was
donated by the Kraaipan Tribal Authority and Priest Petersen and his team
completed the church within 4 weeks. The new church was dedicated on 19 June
2005 by Bishop Bhana.
