Apostle Area - JOUBERT JM

On Sunday 29 January 2017, Priest Hennie Naude and his wife Kraai celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary blessing. Bishop S Naude held the divine service and bestowed the wedding anniversary blessing on them.  The Bishop shared a special Bible word taken from 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love”, with the couple, as a staff in their hand for the future.
Out of this bond of marriage, two children were born, a son and a daughter. They thank our Heavenly Father, for it was only through His grace and protection that this journey together was possible.

On Sunday 5 February 2017, Apostle J Joubert held a divine service in Sinoville, Pretoria, for the 2017 confirmands of the areas of Bishop S Naude and Bishop D Mdhluli. Present were 125 confirmands, as well as their parents, rectors and district leaders. All the confirmands were requested to form part of the choir on the day. The Bishop D Mdhluli also served along.
The Bible word for the divine service was taken from 2 Corinthians 7:16, “Therefore I rejoice that I have confidence in you in everything”. The Apostle conveyed that confirmation is an indication of our obedience to God and God acknowledges this by trusting us. He also re-iterated the confidence God, His servants and their parents have in the confirmands and encouraged them to focus on taking care of themselves, both physically and spiritually.

Shepherd Kevin Mann, the Rector of Pretoria Central Congregation was retired on Sunday afternoon, 5 February 2017 at his home. Apostle J Joubert used a Bible word from Romans 5:6 as the basis for the service.  The Apostle thanked the Shepherd who served in various ministries for almost 38 years in a number of congregations, for his dedication, sacrifices and his willingness to do the Lord’s work at all times.
Present at the retirement with the Apostle was Bishop S Naude, family members of the Shepherd and priestly ministries and members. The Shepherd received a wonderful surprise when his son arrived from New Zealand to be with the family.
