A floral skills development workshop was conducted on Saturday, 22 April 2006, for members in the Johannesburg districts of Bishop Petersen’s area. Invited to this workshop in Bosmont congregation were members who were already at an above average skills level. They will in turn assist with the floral skills development in their respective districts. The following areas were covered in the workshop: effective buying and costing; use of containers, stands and accessories; caring for flowers; floral design; balance and flow; dimensions and contrast; flowers as an offering and the handing out thereof. The workshop, facilitated by Jannie Cloete, turned out to be a great success.
