Divine Services
Divine services are conducted on all Sundays and recognised Christian holy days. In most congregations, a second divine service takes place on Wednesdays or Thursdays. Wedding and burial sermons are also conducted whenever necessary. Divine services in which the departed are remembered also take place three times per annum.
The sermon itself is conducted in a solemn atmosphere with a message delivered according to a pre-determined theme. It provides comfort and strength, increases faith, and affords each member the opportunity to increase in knowledge and understanding about all the principles of the Doctrine of Christ. The divine service further incorporates the absolution of sin and celebration of Holy Communion, which is administered to all baptised members. The sermon also promotes an awareness to be ready for the return of Christ. Visitors are always welcome to attend our divine services!
