During March, Chief Apostle Fehr made his last visit as part of his active
ministry to the South East Africa District. On 9 March 2005, he conducted a
divine service in Dinwiddie, and for those who wanted a “special word” from the
Chief Apostle, he chose Isaiah 26:2 as a basis for the service: “Open the gates,
That the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in.”
The Chief Apostle called upon the District Apostles Mfune (Zambia), Nadolny
(Berlin) and Latorcai (Canada) to serve the congregation as well.
An Apostle for
Mozambique and a Bishop for South Africa was ordained. Apostle Francisco will be
active in Mozambique and Bishop Shabangu will be active in Kwa Zulu Natal.
After the service, District Apostle Kitching thanked the Chief Apostle and his
wife for their contribution to the Lord’s work, and said to the Chief
Apostle “we will never forget you”.
