Advent Choral Presentation
On 12 November 2005 KwaZulu Natal hosted an Advent Choral at the Durban
Christian Centre. The event was planned to coincide with the visit of District
Apostle Kitching to the region from 12 to 13 November 2005. Funds were raised to
host the event by having an International Food Festival on the beach front. The
program consisted of 20 items involving various choirs, soloists and orchestras.
Also participating was a 22 member band from the South African Army. In
attendance were 762 people. A collection of food and toys were also made that
will be handed over to the poor and needy before Christmas.
