It was a special occasion when on 2 October 2008 a special concert was arranged
for District Apostle Kitching in celebration of his 20th year in the District
Apostle ministry. Invited were current and retired rectors, district leaders,
and apostles and bishops. The concert took place in Towerby congregation in
Johannesburg. It was exactly 20 years earlier that District Apostle Kitching was
ordained by Chief Apostle Fehr in the Rembrandt Hall in Pretoria.
A choir, accompanied by orchestra and organ rendered beautiful
music, while instrumental and voice solos also added to the festive occasion. In
between the presentation of the musical items, the Apostles Craig Barnes and
Frank Mwape, as well as Bishop Hector and District Elder Wentzel, reminisced on
the spiritual and administrative development of the Lord's work during District
Apostle Kitching's tenure
